Planning and Preparations

BE PART OF THE WORLD'S LEADING AUTOMOTIVE TRADE FAIR BRAND

You have the opportunity to be linked with the world’s leading automotive aftermarket trade fair brand when you exhibit at Automechanika Johannesburg, to be staged at the Johannesburg Expo Centre in Johannesburg for the third time from the 8th to the 11th of May 2013.

Automechanika is the world’s leading brand among business-to-business and automotive aftermarket trade fairs, according to an independent research. It has recently extended its portfolio of trade fair to 12 cities and 11 countries (Russia has shows in both Moscow and St. Petersburg)

It is possible that Messe Frankfurt’s very successful Automechanika brand could be expanded between 8 to 10 more cities within the next decade.

The inaugural Automechanika Johannesburg, which took place in 2009, was the most successful launch event ever since the brand went global in 1997, in terms of the amount of exhibition space sold. The number of exhibitors, at 400, was double the estimate when the original planning took place.

The 2013 event promises to not only to build on the lessons learned from the first two events. It will also incorporate a number of innovations to make it even more attractive to exhibitors and visitors alike. It is the ideal time and place to stage conferences, workshops and training sessions.

For one thing, much greater emphasis is being placed on the fact that South Africa is the “Gateway to Africa” and targeted campaigns will ensure an increase in the number of potential buyers from African countries.

It certainly promises to be a “must do” event for all involved in the automotive aftermarket in South Africa!

I hereby extend an invitation to participate in the 2013 event which will offer opportunities across a number of platforms from Innovation Awards, Green Directory, to conferences, workshops and industry forecasting.
